About me:
My
name is Brit Sviggum. I live in a small town in the south of Norway called
Egersund. I am married and have two children. A boy
at 6, and a girl at 2 1/2. And you can find them on 99% of my
layouts : )
My
interests are: Scrapbooking, photography, travelling, reading craft magazines
and of course BEING WITH MY FAMILY
I
started scrapbooking after a holiday in America in 1999 where I found some
pattern papers and punches, and just had to buy them to find out what to do with
them. And the interest of this great hobby has just grown
bigger and bigger for each year.
I
don`t know exactly what to call my style. I guess it`s a kind of freestyle. A
little bit storybook-like : )
I love
cutting out my motives and kind of place them into new scenes. Make new
stories!
Planning is a big part of my scrapbooking. I love
planning my pages. I can get inspired by something on tv (lots of things from
childrens tv), magazines, something I see outside and of course of other
scrapbookers. When I get an idea for a new page, I start writing down things I
can use for it. I go through my pattern papers to see if I have something that
will do, or I search the internet for images.
Scrapbooking is so much fun, and there are lot of
inspiration to find anywhere in life.
Here are some of my works:
And now, take a look at the talented Marsha Valk`s blog,
for lots of inspiration.
Have a nice evening everybody!
